Blue-green algae blooms (Cyanobacteria), which can be harmful to people and pets, has been confirmed in the following water:
Amico Island Pond, Delran, Burlington Co.
Branch Brook Park Lake, Newark, Essex Co.
Delaware Lake, Warren Co.
Dramasei Park Lake, Gloucester Twp., Camden Co.
Farrington Lake, Middlesex Co.
Lake Papaianni, Middlesex Co.
Mountain Lake, Warren Co.
Pompton Lake, Passaic Co.
Ramapo River , Bergen Co.
Spruce Run Reservoir, Hunterdon Co.
Sunset Lake, Asbury Park, Monmouth Co.
All contact with the water should be avoided and fish caught should not be consumed from affected waterbodies.
